In 2013 I did a solo trip around the world and only took one extra change of clothes. Amongst the clothes were an extra pair of ExOfficio Men's Give-N-Go Boxers that I had purchased right before my trip. They were perfect because in a pinch I was able to hand wash them in the sink and hang them up to dry.
I got sick in Thailand and barely left my room for a couple of days so that was one of those instances that I had to hand wash and hang.
